Steve Reed of CarolinaGrowl.com reported earlier today all but eight of the team’s roster moves. The team has now announced all of the transactions made as the team got down to 53 players.

And, no, Cam Newton hasn’t been cut or placed on injured reserve. But he’s the tattoo-less and unpierced face of the franchise, so we decided to use a picture of him here.

In addition to Reed’s report, the team parted ways with fullback Tony Fiammetta, safety Michael Greco (who received an injury settlement), cornerback Chevis Jackson, receiver Charly Martin, cornerback Robert McClain, tight end Greg Smith, running back Josh Vaughn, and receiver Wallace Wright.

In all, the Panthers cut 24 players, put one on injured reserve, and one on the PUP list.
