Currently, three Gronkowski brothers play for NFL teams. On Saturday, two of them, at least temporarily, won’t be.
Per a league source, running back Chris Gronkowski (pictured) of the Cowboys and tight end Dan Gronkowski of the Broncos will be released today.
Those moves will leave, for now, only Pats tight end Rob Gronkowski on an NFL roster.
And Rob is surely safe — he scored 10 touchdowns as a rookie in 2010.
Both Chris and Dan Gronkowski will be subject to waivers, since they have fewer than four NFL seasons.
