The news wasn’t all good for the Texans today.
Per a league source, receiver Kevin Walter suffered a broken shoulder during Sunday’s win over the Colts, and he is expected to miss 10-12 weeks.
Walter has been the primary complement to Andre Johnson in Houston for the past four years, starting all but three games. The injury bumps up Jacoby Jones and newcomer Bryant Johnson.
UPDATE 9/13/11: Walter ultimately was diagnosed with a “badly bruised” collarbone.
