Bengals rookie quarterback Andy Dalton suffered a wrist injury on Sunday against the Browns. He may not be able to play on Sunday against the Broncos.

Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com characterizes the former TCU quarterback as “questionable at best” after he participated in practice on a limited basis Wednesday.

“I guess with the wrist injury, that’s a big part of it,” Dalton said. “There is still a little bit of pain in there, but like I said, it’s getting better every day.”

Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Dalton took snaps and performed handoffs and pitches with his left hand.

If Dalton can’t play, Bruce Gradkowski will get the start. He led the Bengals to a come-from-behind win over the Browns in Week One.
