We noted this morning that Giants safety Antrel Rolle said he didn’t want to hear any excuses coming out of Philadelphia when the Giants put it on the Eagles on Sunday. When those comments got back to Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin, he had an interesting response.

“He’s just talking,” Maclin said of Rolle, via CSNPhilly.com. “A lot of times when people talk, they’re either insecure or scared. You guys choose.”

Maclin said he thinks his teammates will brush Rolle’s comments off.

“I don’t know what he’s trying to do but he’s not going to intimidate, not going to scare nobody in this locker room,” Maclin said.

We’re enjoying this little back-and-forth between the two NFC East rivals. Now we’ll hope they give us an enjoyable game on Sunday.
