Wednesday was busier than expected, due in part to the surprising staying power of the story regarding Giants players faking injuries on Monday night.

And so, better late than never, here’s a look at the players who got a look-see on the primary day of the week on which NFL teams give unemployed NFL players a look-see.

The Bills worked out guard Keith Williams.

The Panthers worked out linebacker Anthony Waters.

The Bengals worked out receiver Armon Binns, running back James Davis, running back Shaun Draughn (that’s a great name), defensive tackle Derek Landri, running back Tyrell Sutton, and nose tackle Gabe Watson.

The Broncos brought in running back Thomas Clayton, receiver Quan Cosby, running back Anthony Elzy, tight end Daniel Hardy, nose tackle Marcus Harrison, tight end John Nalbone, running back Jalen Parmele, safety Darren Sharper, and tight end Martell Webb.

The Lions looked at receiver Hank Baskett (pictured), defensive end Everette Brown, receiver David Clowney, receiver Justin Gage, receiver Johnnie Lee Higgins, defensive end Aaron Lavarias, and defensive back Benny Sapp.

The Texans tried out linebacker Antwan Applewhite, defensive end Keyunta Dawson, defensive end Vernon Gholston, linebacker Alex Hall, linebacker Cyril Obiozor, and linebacker David Vobora.

The Dolphins tried out (and signed) defensive end Igor Olshansky.

The Giants checked out the injury-faking abilities of tight end Domonique Byrd and tight end Ryan Purvis.

The Eagles tried out defensive end Jacob Ford and receiver Mardy Gilyard.

The 49ers looked at tight end Richard Quinn.

The Bucs brought in linebackers Phillip Dillard, Archie Donald, and Cobrani Mixon, along with defensive backs Chris Horton, Prince Miller, Joshua Moore, David Sims, and Jamar Wall.

The Titans tried out five running backs: Clinton Portis, Aaron Brown, Lonyae Miller, Chase Reynolds, and Javarris Williams.
