Three injuries to key players happened in quick succession Sunday afternoon, so let’s just get you up to date:

1. Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo had to be helped off the field with some sort of lower leg injury. The Patriots have also lost defensive lineman Kyle Love against Oakland. Their defense was already in bad shape, and Mayo is easily the group’s best player.

He eventually took a cart to the locker room.

2. Dolphins center Mike Pouncey had to be helped off the field with a knee injury.

3. Vincent Jackson of the Chargers ran to the locker room with an undisclosed injury. He had over 100 yards and a score before he left. He has been struggling with an abdomen injury.

UPDATE: Jackson returned to the field, but doesn’t look 100%.
