The biggest mismatch possible to play out in Lambeau

AL Harris vs. Sea

It’s not hard to make the case that the Rams are the worst team in football.

Not only are they winless, they haven’t been competitive in a league where nearly every game is competitive. The weakest spot on perhaps the weakest team in the league is in the secondary.

Starting cornerback Ronald Bartell and nickel back Jerome Murphy are long gone. Their best corner Bradley Fletcher tore his ACL during the bye week.

Coming out of the bye, the Rams will roll out struggling youngster Justin King as a starter. The other logical starter is 36-year-old former Packer Al Harris, who was never supposed to play so much. Next up is journeyman Rod Hood, signed two weeks ago.

This is probably the worst group in the league, and their first assignment together is to go to Lambeau Field and face the best passing attack in football.

“I spent eight years there,” Harris told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “Had a great time. A lot of snaps. But today is today, and we’ve got to prepare like that.”

Anything can happen in the NFL, but you couldn’t possibly create a bigger mismatch than Sunday’s showdown in Lambeau Field when Aaron Rodgers is on the field. Perhaps he’ll have mercy on his old teammate.
