Drew Brees is carving up a banged-up Giants defense on Monday night.
New Orleans leads 21-3 at halftime, helped by Brees’ ridiculous 265 yards and three scores. New Orleans rolled up 354 yards in the first half in a surgical display.
The Giants pass rush isn’t getting home, and the offense isn’t completing drives. The Giants have moved the ball well, but an Eli Manning interception and a bunch of drops by Giants receivers have stalled things.
New York is in big danger of dropping its third straight game, and really kickstarting that “second half collapse” talk.
UPDATE: Osi Umenyiora has an ankle injury and will not return.
