With running back Adrian Peterson out for Sunday’s showdown with Tebowmania, the Vikings desperately need receiver Percy Harvin, if they will have any hope of establishing the kind of lead that Tim Tebow and the Broncos won’t be able to overcome.
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Harvin will play -- even though he is listed as questionable with an illness. Harvin missed practice on Friday.
The source says the illness isn’t another migraine. Coincidentally, or not, Harvin hasn’t had many/any migraines since the Vikings changed coaches last season.
