A win might not get the Falcons the fifth seed in the NFC, but they aren’t leaving anything up to doubt in Atlanta.

While the Lions and Packers battle in Green Bay, the Falcons have jumped out to a 21-0 lead over the Buccaneers in the first quarter. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones have hooked up for a pair of touchdowns, the defense has picked off Josh Freeman and a rout is well underway at the Georgia Dome. The Falcons’ intensity might drop if the Lions pull out their game, but the Falcons clearly want to make sure they take care of business on their end.

As for the Bucs, if the first quarter is any indication of how they plan to end the season, this is likely the last game of the Raheem Morris era.
