Sam Bradford’s third offensive coordinator in as many years will be Brian Schottenheimer.

The Rams have offered Schottenheimer the job, according to Michael Lombardi of NFL.com. The two sides still have to work out a contract, but Lombardi writes that Schottenheimer will accept the position.

The former Jets offensive coordinator met with Jeff Fisher over dinner on Sunday night. Fisher’s contract hasn’t even officially been completed, but that is expected to happen shortly.

This move may not be popular in St. Louis, but Schottenheimer was a well-regarded rising coach not so long ago. Like Bradford, he will try to revive his NFL career under Fisher.

We hope Bradford likes throwing slant passes.
