Florio mentioned that the Bucs will take their time while they continue to look far and wide for their next head coach. It looks like interviews will take place through the end of this week, at the very least.
The latest candidate to emerge: Packers quarterbacks coach Tom Clements. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Clements will meet with the Bucs later this week.
Tampa also requested permission to meet with offensive coordinator Joe Philbin, although it’s not clear if he’ll meet with the team.
Mike Sherman, Marty Schottenheimer, Brad Childress, and Mike Zimmer have also interviewed or will interview with the Bucs.
