The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported on Friday morning that the Steelers had cut roughly $37.4 million off their salary cap figure with all their restructuring and releases over the last few weeks.

On Friday morning, they lopped off even more money.

James Farrior’s agent Ralph Cindrich tweeted on Friday morning -- in classic Cindrich style -- that Farrior had been cut.

“JamesFarrior has been a rock for the #Steelers but the #Turk takes no prisoners-he’s gone, A not so Good Morning from Cali,” Cindrich wrote.

Farrior joins Hines Ward, defensive end Aaron Smith, and guard Chris Kemoeatu as freshly minted ex-Steelers.
