Devon Still makes his case

Every year at this time, we welcome a wide collection of incoming rookies to PFT Live.  This week, the largest of our three guests was former Penn State defensive tackle Devon Still.

Still grew up a Steelers fan, in part because his he wore a Steelers jersey on his way home from the hospital after being born.  And he thrust himself into the conversation as one of the best interior defensive linemen when he manhandled the twin brother of Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey during the 2011 Outback Bowl.

If nothing else, it’ll make for interesting practices if Still ended up a Steeler.

  1. I for one would LOVE for him to be available in the first round. I (and I may be in the minority here) believe that Casey Hampton contributes nothing to the defense anymore. He has no motor and gives no push up the middle anymore. The success of the defense on passing downs requires more drive and quickness than we have been getting up front. … and a cousin of Levon Kirkland…’nuff said.
