Pierre Garcon isn’t the only free agent receiver the Redskins are signing.

Just moments after Garcon confirmed that he’s signing with the Redskins, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that free agent wide receiver Josh Morgan is also on the verge of signing with the Redskins.

What this means is the Redskins are being incredibly aggressive about getting receivers in the fold who can give Robert Griffin III plenty of options from Day One of his NFL career. In a perfect world for the Redskins, Griffin, Garcon and Morgan will all develop a rapport and become a great pass-catch combination in Washington for years to come.

Morgan leaving would be bad news for the 49ers, who wanted to keep Morgan in San Francisco, although signing Randy Moss may lessen that blow.

Garcon and Morgan are both on our Free Agent Hot 100, with Garcon checking in at No. 55 and Morgan at No. 60.

Morgan caught 15 passes for 220 yards last season before being lost for the year with a broken ankle in Week Five.

We’re hearing that if Morgan does sign with the Redskins, it will be a two-year deal.
