Brandon Meriweather has another visit lined up.

Meriweather, the free agent safety who has already visited the Broncos and Redskins, will visit the Jets today, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

The Jets have a major need at safety, so it’s no surprise that Meriweather is a player they’d like to sign. The Jets missed out on safety Dwight Lowery and are also interested in safety LaRon Landry.

After playing his first four seasons with the Patriots, Meriweather went to Chicago last year, where he played 11 games and started four.
