Last month, a former Cardinals player helped rescue passengers in a van that had flipped onto its side. On Thursday, another former Cardinals player needed to be rescued.
Running back Tim Hightower, who spent 2011 with the Redskins, was hiking with his wife on Camelback Mountain in Arizona. According to FOX 10 in Phoenix, the Hightowers were hiking away from a trail and got lost. Then, it became too dark for them to make it down.
Neither was injured.
Hightower is an unrestricted free agent. He appeared in five games last season before tearing an ACL.
