The Jacksonville Jaguars announced via press release Monday that they have signed 17 undrafted free agents. In alphabetical order, the list is as follows:

LSU defensive end Kendrick Adams, UTEP running back Joe Banyard, Northern Colorado tackle Lee Barbiasz, UTEP cornerback Antwon Blake, Virginia Tech receiver Jarrett Boykin, Ohio State center Mike Brewster, Bethune-Cookman defensive end Ryan Davis, Langston cornerback Antonio Dennard, Florida A&M receiver Kevin Elliott, Texas State guard D.J. Hall, Murray State cornerback Dontrel Johnson, Western Michigan defensive tackle Drew Nowak, UCLA receiver Nelson Rosario, Cincinnati linebacker J.K. Schaffer, Wagner linebacker Julian Stanford, Memphis defensive end Frank Trotter, and North Dakota tight end Matt Veldman.

Jaguars G.M. Gene Smith always does a ton of work on the small-school scouting circuit. Smith’s only small-school draft pick was used on Ashland defensive tackle Jeris Pendleton, but the work paid off in Jacksonville’s undrafted rookie class.

Brewster (pictured) is arguably the Jaguars’ highest-profile UDFA signing. A 49-game starter at Ohio State, Brewster earned second-team All-Big Ten honors as a senior center, behind Michigan’s David Molk. Molk was drafted in the seventh round by the Chargers.
