The Cardinals have jumped into the pool with most of the other NFL teams and started signing their draft picks.

The team sent out a statement Tuesday that they have signed four of their seven draft picks from last month. Tackle Bobby Massie, guard Senio Kelemete, quarterback Ryan Lindley and safety Justin Bethel all signed four-year deals with the team.

There’s some thought that he could be a left tackle alternative for Levi Brown down the road, but Massie, a fourth-round pick, won’t start out there. Instead he will compete with Jeremy Bridges for the starting right tackle job, a competition he stands a fair chance of winning. Lindley, a sixth-round pick, had his supporters leading into and out of the draft, but he’s looking at the third spot behind Kevin Kolb and John Skelton for now. He’ll have to beat out Richard Bartel this summer for that job.

Kelemete, a fifth-round pick, and Bethel, a sixth-round pick, will be working for reserve and special teams spots this summer. The Cardinals still need to sign wide receiver Michael Floyd, cornerback Jamell Fleming and tackle Nate Potter.
