Peyton Manning took Tim Tebow’s place as the Denver Broncos’ quarterback, and he has also topped Tebow in having the best-selling jersey in the NFL.

The NFL revealed today that Manning’s Broncos jersey has been the best seller on NFLShop.com over the last two months, with Tebow’s Jets jersey checking in at No. 2.

A pair of rookie quarterbacks were next: The Redskins jersey with the surname (and Roman numerals) of Robert Griffin III came in third, while Andrew Luck’s Indianapolis Colts jersey came in fourth.

The best-selling jersey for a non-quarterback was Patrick Willis’s 49ers jersey. Willis checked in at No. 7, after Manning, Tebow, Griffin, Luck, Eli Manning and Aaron Rodgers.

  1. Jersey sales in Denver are huge because most companies allow employees to wear whatever they want to work. Jerseys replace suits in some places…

  2. I’m stunned that, with all he’s accomplished on the field, ANYONE would have more jersey’s sold than future HOFer Tim Tebow.

  3. However, congrats to those that surprised me:

    RG3
    Luck
    Gronk
    Victor Cruz
    Von Miller
    and
    Witten!!!

  4. 3 Cowboys Top 25 NFL’s Best Selling Jersey List: Romo [11], Ware [19] and Witten [23]. — Tied with the Patriots for the most of any NFL team.

  5. So I’m guessing that mannings jersey is cheaper than a roll of toilet paper? I believe both will be used for the same thing…

  6. With the exception of fullback stand-out, Tim Tebow, Patrick Willis representing at the top of non-quarterback jersey sales.

  7. Let the Haten commence For the Cowboys but Haters Hate because their JEALOUS.. There’s a reason there’s three of them on the top 25 because there BEASTLY #recognize

  8. how are guys like romo and ray lewis, rodgers still in the top 25 you would think people already had their jerseys for the past 5 yrs

  9. Anyone who buys a jersey is a loser…so it’s only fitting that the Donkeys would hold the number one spot.

A real shocker, that the 2 teams with the most band-wagonner/front runner fans have the most popular jerseys.

    Not.

  12. And the NFL *still* won’t let you order a Ron Mexico jersey, unless you misspell “Mexico”. A travesty, and a cut in Vick’s personal income. He should sue somebody. Or something.

  13. @latchbeam I can see you aren’t from Denver, @941Bucs, well when the toilet gets flushed, we know which team will be underneath–TB–I know what the TB stands for now–LOL–Maybe Peyton sold more Jerseys because us Bronco fans love our Broncos.
