The Detroit Lions announced Monday that they have re-signed veteran wide receiver Maurice Stovall.

The 27-year-old Stovall was a third-round pick of the Buccaneers in 2006, after playing his college ball at Notre Dame. Stovall hasn’t panned out as a receiving threat in the pros, but he was a core special teamer in Detroit last season.

Stovall racked up seven special teams tackles in 15 appearances.

He’ll be on the roster bubble in training camp.
