  1. I understand why the players’ might be concerned that their use of the NFL’s safe ride program could be used against them. Too bad they aren’t more concerned that they could kill someone if they drink & drive.
    It’s a cop-out. Just a weak excuse given by selfish people. You want to go out and party? Fine…but find a way to do it responsibly! Hire your own car service, call a cab, use a designated driver.
    Oh, but then they can’t show off their fancy rides! Boo-Friggin-Hoo! Make sure you tell that to the family/friends of the person you kill when you drive drunk.
