Owning a Super Bowl ring may not be that important to a football player, after all.

According to Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, former practice-squad defensive tackle Jay Ross is selling the jewelry he received after the Packers beat the Steelers last year in Cowboys Stadium.

The bidding via Heritage Auctions opens July 14 and closes on August 2.

Ross, who currently plays for the Buffalo Bills, possibly thinks he didn’t truly earn the ring. Or maybe he just doesn’t want it. Or maybe he needs the cash.

Regardless, less than three months after a team employee’s Super Bowl XLV ring was purchased at a pawn shop for roughly $17,000, another Super Bowl XLV ring is available.
