Josh Gordon will run for scouts Tuesday

Former Baylor receiver Josh Gordon, widely regarded as the top prospect in this year’s supplemental draft, will be available on Tuesday, July 10, for a Pro Day workout.

Though the event originally was scheduled to be conducted at Rice University, multiple reports indicate that a chance of rain could move the workout to the Texans’ indoor facility.

Gordon’s workout comes one day after former TCU running back Ed Wesley was scheduled to conduct a Pro Day workout at the Horned Frogs’ campus.

Also available during Thursday’s supplemental draft are Boise State cornerback Quaylon Ewing, Syracuse fullback Adam Harris, Carson-Newman linebacker Larry Lumpkin, Georgia defensive end/linebacker Montez Robinson, and McMurray receiver Houston Tuminello.

As Silva pointed out on Sunday, at least one NFC team has applied a third-round grade to Gordon.

Any team that uses a supplemental draft pick forfeits the corresponding selection in the April 2013 draft. In one of the few remaining non-televised NFL events, teams indicate before each round whether they want to use a pick on a given player. Priority is determined via a weighted lottery based on the 2012 draft order.
