We’re checking in with two AFC teams as they get ready for camp on Wednesday’s PFT Live.

Paul Gutierrez of will join Mike Florio to discuss what’s going on with the Raiders in their first full season since the death of Al Davis. General Manager Reggie McKenzie has started reshaping the roster and new coach Dennis Allen is taking care of the on-field decisions in Oakland, so we’ll check in to find out how their approach is working for the team.

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News will also be on the show to catch us up on everything Jets. We know that they have all kinds of big plans in store for Tim Tebow, but we promise that some of the other players currently on the roster will also come up in the conversation. One of those players is cornerback Darrelle Revis, who seems to have dropped the thought of a holdout and we’ll see what Mehta is hearing on that front.

You can watch it all live at noon ET.

  1. Hey, that may be true, but I’m one Kevin Costner signature away from meeting the man a half dozen times. Who can say that?

  2. this isnt going to happen overnight..Al left Reggie one major mess and it’s going to take a couple of drafts and FA signings to fix this..the offense looks good as long as McFadden stays the good young corps of receivers and 3/5 of the line(Carlisle and Barnes scare me)..the defense is the big question mark with this team as it has been since 2002..can they stop the run? are they going to blow leads late in the game by giving up big pass plays or stupid penalties? cutting Routt and Chris Johnson is getting better by subtraction..Bartell and Spencer cant possibly be as bad as those two clowns were..Give Reggie time, he will get it done

  3. Actually, the Raiders have a very talented offense – should be top ten if not top five.

The questions are on defense. The DL looks good. The back seven is scary – and not in a good way.

And even though they played consistently bad last year, we still almost won the division. I think that now that we can play a “real defense” (thx Michael Huff) this year, it’ll be an interesting year for sure!

I think we do win the division unless Manning finds the fountain of youth or something.
