With rosters at 90 players at the moment, there’s not much good help on the street right now.
So after being short there with yesterday’s retirement of Tony Ugoh, the Chiefs responded by signing Ray Willis, who hasn’t played since 2009, according to Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star.
Willis was signed by the Jets in May but released in late June.
He started 16 games for the Seahawks in 2009, but hasn’t played a game since then, during stints with the Dolphins and Saints before his cup of coffee with the Jets.
