The Colts lost a pair of backups for the season, with tests revealing both offensive lineman Ben Ijalana and linebacker A.J. Edds have torn ACLs, according to Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star.

Ijalana, their second-round pick in 2011 out of Villanova, played in just four games last year before tearing his left ACL. He went down Sunday after injuring the same knee.

Edds was signed off New England’s practice squad last year.
