Colts receiver Donnie Avery made a great, diving catch on Sunday. But the oft-injured wideout emerged with an injury.

According to Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star, Avery’s thigh was “heavily wrapped.”

After practice, coach Chuck Pagano said that Avery will likely undergo testing.

“He’ll go in and probably do an MRI or something later on,” Pagano said, via comments distributed by the team. “I haven’t got the full report. It’s nothing major, I know that.”

The Colts need targets for quarterback Andrew Luck. And Avery, if he can stay healthy, can help the rookie quarterback move the chains.
