Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake didn’t practice on Tuesday, one day after he was involved in a car accident.

According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Wake has no visible injuries as a result of the accident, but his car was totaled when he hit another car at an intersection on Monday afternoon. Wake’s BMW crashed into a Lexus that was headed in the other direction and trying to make a left turn at an intersection.

The driver of the other car was cited for impeding Wake’s right of way. Police say that alcohol was not a factor in the accident.

Wake watched the first part of practice from the field and then went back into the team’s facility. It’s unknown if Wake will play on Friday against the Panthers at this point and rookie Olivier Vernon would likely see a bump in playing time if Wake is unable to play in the team’s second preseason game.
