Add another name to the list of injured Cowboys.

Linebacker DeMarcus Ware won’t be in the lineup when the Cowboys travel to San Diego for a Saturday night game against the Chargers. Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com reports that Ware hurt his hamstring in practice on Thursday and the team has decided to hold him out of the contest as a result.

The good news is that Ware said that the injury isn’t serious, but the bad news is that the Cowboys can ill afford more injuries of any severity. Ware is the 20th player to be ruled out of the game against the Chargers, including fellow starting outside linebacker Anthony Spencer. Spencer also has a hamstring injury, as do guard Nate Livings, wide receiver Miles Austin and at least four other members of the team.

Watkins reports that Alex Albright took Ware’s place in practice on Thursday. Albright played in all 16 games for the Cowboys after making the team as an undrafted free agent last season, but saw most of his time on special teams.
