As if the Lions didn’t have enough problems keeping running backs on the field, they may have lost another option last night.

Returner Stefan Logan, who has taken on a bigger role in the backfield this year without Jahvid Best out and Mikel Leshoure only beginning to come back, injured his right ankle in the win at Baltimore.

Logan needed crutches to get to the locker room, but coach Jim Schwartz said X-rays came back negative.

“We’ll see,” Schwartz said, via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. “It didn’t look great on film according to our doctors, but Logan’s a pretty tough guy. We’ll just see how that comes out.”

Logan had a down year as a returner last year, but remains a valuable part, especially considering how thin the Lions have become at the position.
