The good news for Giants cornerback Jayron Hosley is that the rookie third-rounder intercepted a Mark Sanchez interception and returned it 77 yards for a touchdown, helping Hosley’s team secure a bronze trophy of, um, Snoopy?

The bad news is that the game meant nothing, notwithstanding the bronze Snoopy trophy.

The worst news is that Hosley emerged from the game with a walking boot on his right foot.

According to the Associated Press, Hosley doesn’t know how it happened. “I couldn’t tell you right now,” Hosley said. “I felt a little something in it and just went to the trainer. Got to get more tests on it.”

If it’s anything significant, the injury would be another blow to a secondary already dealing with the loss of Terrell Thomas.

At least they’ll still have the Snoopy trophy.
