He had three business days to make a decision. He took less than three hours.

A source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that Titans receiver Kenny Britt will not appeal his one-game suspension for multiple violations of the personal-conduct policy.

Both Britt and the team regard the suspension as light, considering the sheer magnitude of run-ins with the law.

Future incidents undoubtedly will result in an even greater suspension. Also, if Britt ultimately is convicted of or pleads guilty or no contest to the DUI charges that triggered the one-game suspension, further action could be taken against him.

Britt was expected to participate in only 10-15 snaps during the Week One game against the Patriots. The suspension will presumably allow him to prepare for more extensive duty the following week, against the Chargers in San Diego.
