We’ve already passed along some of the Ravens’ roster moves on cut-down day.

And, inevitably, there are many more.

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Ravens have waived running back Anthony Allen, linebacker Nigel Carr, defensive lineman Terrence Moore, offensive lineman Cord Howard, wide receiver Dorian Graham, defensive lineman Nick Jean-Baptiste, and linebacker Chavis Williams.

Per Wilson, the Ravens will also be making forthcoming roster moves involving tight end Matt Balasavage, linebacker Josh Bynes, linebacker Ricky Brown, guard/center Justin Boren, tackle Jah Reid, and tight end Bruce Figgins.

In other words, those guys are not going to be on the final 53-man roster.

  1. Pierce and Berry were solid in the preseason so cuttin Allen isn’t too big of a loss.

Surprised they bail on Reid already after spending a 3rd on him last year.

  2. Wasn’t Reid supposed to take Grubbs’ spot? The Ravens just surpassed the Steelers for the worst O-Line in the AFC North.

LOL, He is likely headed to the IR

  4. Laughable Jimbobobjr. Marshal Yanda is the best offensive lineman between the Ravens and Steelers period. Oher, if he cleans up the dumb penalties, is otherwise a very solid tackle. Matt Birk despite his age still graded out as a top 5 center last year according to ProFootballFocus and Bobbie Williams was graded as one of their best run blockers in ’11 before going down with the leg injury. McKinnie is the only one I’ll give you and by all accounts he is finally back on track for the season. Osemele is a mauler and could supplant McKinnie or Williams in the lineup sooner rather than later this season. The only good o-linemen the Steelers have are DeCastro and Pouncey. Jury is still out on Gilbert though I think he can be pretty good, but he needs to stop falling on his own guys and hurting them. Starks and Colon have been with the team for years and years and they sure haven’t protected Roethlisberger that well in that large sample size of time, though Ben trying to make plays and holding onto the ball sometimes doesn’t help them look any better.

  5. Well done ahostiletakeover . You made a well-reasoned argument and supported it with verifiable data. You’re a rarity on this board. Glad you rep the purple and black.
