Lions cut 11 more players, down to 64

Martin Mayhew Pic

Florio reported Friday afternoon that the Detroit Lions waived cornerback Alphonso Smith.

MLive.com’s Anwar Richardson has 11 more Lions roster moves.

Per Richardson, the Lions have waived punter Ryan Donahue, guard Pat Boyle, defensive end Ugo Chinasa, tight ends Alex Gottlieb and Austin Wells, cornerback Ross Weaver, defensive tackles Tracy Robertson and Edmon McClam, wide receivers Nate Hughes and Wallace Miles, and linebacker Carmen Messina.

The Lions have 11 more players to slash, so they’ll be making many more roster decisions over the next few hours.
