Jacoby Ford ruled out for Monday night

The Raiders are down one receiver for Monday night against the Chargers and the status of another one is up in the air.

Jacoby Ford was ruled out on Saturday as a result of the foot injury that has kept him off the field since the team’s preseason opener. He wasn’t expected to play after missing so much time, although he’s stepped up his activity in practice enough of late to expect that he’ll be back before too much longer.
Rod Streater, an undrafted rookie find this summer, will help fill in for Ford.

The status of Denarius Moore is less clear. Moore returned to practice late this week after missing about a month as a result of his hamstring injury and he’s listed as questionable for Monday night. The practice reports out of Oakland were good on Friday and the team is practicing again Saturday evening. If Moore makes it though okay, we’d guess he’ll see some action.

Rookie wide receiver Juron Criner is also questionable and defensive lineman Richard Seymour are listed as questionable as well. Seymour’s knee issue will be something he has to manage all season, although there’s not been any sign it will keep him out this week.

  1. Damn… His trade value keeps dropping…
    “Glass” Schillens v2.0.
    With worse hands….

  2. To bad his last name was not Chevy he would more durable. Instead he gets hurt every year simply running routs. I know people always say “walk a mile in there shoes” but in Jacoby’s case he would probably sprain his ankle walking that mile. Either way hope he heals up soon because the Raiders could definitely use him.

  3. Denarius Moore is looking very strong in practice and will play Monday night. Would rather have Moore in the patterns than Ford. Ford will be missed as a returner though.

This game is going to be about McFadden anyway. He’s going to light it up.

  4. Pantherpro, you are a dumb troll who lives in his mom’s basement, spewing idiocy. What a bonehead hater you are. Come to Oakland and talk that trash. Why do you even care?
