Jacoby Ford ruled out for Monday night

The Raiders are down one receiver for Monday night against the Chargers and the status of another one is up in the air.

Jacoby Ford was ruled out on Saturday as a result of the foot injury that has kept him off the field since the team’s preseason opener. He wasn’t expected to play after missing so much time, although he’s stepped up his activity in practice enough of late to expect that he’ll be back before too much longer.
Rod Streater, an undrafted rookie find this summer, will help fill in for Ford.

The status of Denarius Moore is less clear. Moore returned to practice late this week after missing about a month as a result of his hamstring injury and he’s listed as questionable for Monday night. The practice reports out of Oakland were good on Friday and the team is practicing again Saturday evening. If Moore makes it though okay, we’d guess he’ll see some action.

Rookie wide receiver Juron Criner is also questionable and defensive lineman Richard Seymour are listed as questionable as well. Seymour’s knee issue will be something he has to manage all season, although there’s not been any sign it will keep him out this week.
