The second half of the Panthers-Buccaneers game has been delayed because of lightning in the area around Raymond James Stadium.

The good news is, since the game’s in Tampa, they only have to clear about half a stadium’s worth of people. It was the only game in the league blacked out, when the Bucs failed to sell 85 percent of their tickets.

The Panthers could use the extended halftime to reformulate an offensive plan. They have just six rushing attempts in the first half, and they’re being handled by the Bucs 13-0.

Missing Jonathan Stewart could be part of that, but they established nothing offensively in the first half, and the Bucs look fairly domiant, with an 18:45-11:15 edge in time of possession.
