It took a while, but it finally happened.

The Colts have sold out the first regular-season home game of the post-Peyton era. The team announced the accomplishment on Monday.

The Colts declined to take advantage of the ability to reduce their minimum obligation from 100 percent of all non-premium seats to as low as 85 percent. Though they may eventually have blackouts later in the year, the home opener against the Vikings will be televised locally.
