The Steelers were down two starting offensive linemen by the end of their loss in Denver on Sunday night and the offense suffered as a result.

The good news is that Pittsburgh expects to have both right guard Ramon Foster and right tackle Marcus Gilbert back in the lineup for this week’s matchup with the Jets. Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that coach Mike Tomlin said that both players “should be fine” in time for Sunday afternoon’s game.

Foster suffered a migraine that affected his vision in Denver while Gilbert hyperextended his knee. They were replaced by Doug Legursky and Mike Adams, respectively, and neither backup distinguished himself positively in the game. The Broncos pass rush thwarted any last ditch pass rush hopes by exploiting both of them, so it’s certainly good news for the Steelers that they should have their starters back for Week Two.

There was less certainty about the status of linebacker James Harrison, who was on the wrong side of a game time decision on Sunday night. He’ll test his knee on Wednesday and the team will make a determination about his availability later in the week.
