Maurice Jones-Drew will return to the starting lineup this week, since running back Rashad Jennings is one of five Jaguars already ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Texans.

Jennings injured his knee last week against Minnesota and didn’t practice this week.

He’ll be joined in street clothes by right tackle Cameron Bradfield, linebacker Daryl Smith and defensive ends George Selvie and Austen Lane, according to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union.

Left guard Eben Britton hasn’t practiced all week, but is listed as questionable and coach Mike Mularkey said he and cornerback Derek Cox still have a chance to play with two more days to heal.

With all the injuries, three Jags who were signed earlier this week — tight end Stephen Spach and offensive linemen Troy Kropog and Herb Taylor — could be active this week.
