The good news for the Browns is that their high-profile first-round rookies are looking better. The bad news is that the team is looking worse.

The Browns trail the Bengals, 24-10, in the third quarter of Cincinnati’s home opener.

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has completed 14 of 20 passes for 193 yards and a pair of touchdowns, including one to receiver A.J. Green. Running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis has added 50 rushing yards.

For the Browns, quarterback Brandon Weeden has completed 11 of 18 passes for 123 yards, and running back Trent Richardson has added 83 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

A 32-yard touchdown run by Richardson pulled the score to 14-10, but the Bengals steadily have pulled away.
