Steven Jackson held out of practice, questionable vs. Bears

Rams running back Steven Jackson was held out of practice Friday, and will be listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Jackson has missed time with a groin injury in practice this week, after not being able to finish last week’s win over the Redskins.

“I’m not 100 percent, but I’m day-to-day,” Jackson said Thursday. “The injury is not as significant as we once thought it was, and we’re just going to go from there. I still have another three days before the game. So each and every day buys me time.

New left tackle Wayne Hunter (subbing for the injured Radger Saffold) practiced Friday and is expected to play.

Rookie defensive tackle Michael Brockers (ankle) was out of his walking boot and working on the side, a positive sign for the first-rounder.

  1. MIller Hour that’s a great question, and begs the question why Vegas isn’t taking bets on this-I wonder what the odds would be if they did?

  2. Not worried about the O-line injures with this o-line head coach.

Some people may underestimate the impact a o-line coach has, but finally we have a competent one.. that’s why even with saffold out, our back up LT, LG, and Center has done above average

  3. Paul Boudreau has done great with the Rams make shift O-line even with Wayne “turnstyle” Hunter. With that being said..he is going up against Peppers so I’m sure we will see tons of 2 TE sets otherwises Bradford will get killed
