The Cowboys shuffled the bottom of their roster Saturday, promoting linebacker Orie Lemon from the practice squad and cutting cornerback Mario Butler, according to Carlos Mendez of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Lemon was released in final cuts this year, after playing well on special teams in the preseason. The Oklahoma State product spent last year on the Cowboys practice squad, as did Butler.
Lemon will likely have a role on special teams tomorrow against the Buccaneers.
