The Chargers will finally have use of running back Ryan Mathews and tight end Antonio Gates again, as both are active for today’s matchup of undefeateds against the Falcons.

Mathews has been out since a broken collarbone in the preseason, while Gates missed last week with a rib injury.

The Chargers did deactivate veteran running back Ronnie Brown, keeping Curtis Brinkley up instead.

Also inactive for the Chargers were safety Brandon Taylor, cornerback Shareece Wright, linebacker Jonas Mouton, defensive tackle Antonio Garay, offensive tackle Jared Gaither and tight end Ladarius Green.

The Falcons deactivated quarterback Dominique Davis, cornerback Christopher Owens, running back Antone Smith, guard Joe Hawley, offensive tackle Lamar Holmes, defensive ends Jonathan Massaquoi and Cliff Matthews.
