PFT Live: Did Ray Lewis wrongly criticize the refs?

Mike Florio criticizes Ravens LB Ray Lewis’ comments that the officials made the wrong call on a helmet-to-helmet hit that set the Patriots up in field goal range to extend their brief lead. Lewis says that the hit given by S Ed Reed was him doing “whatever you got to do, by any means necessary.” Florio gives an extensive breakdown of the job the replacement refs are doing and says while they are throwing more flags than they should, it is necessary to protect the safety of the players. In addition, Florio reacts to the breaking news that Darrelle Revis is out for the season with a torn ACL and says that the way the Jets knocked Dolphins RB Reggie Bush out of the game should be looked at by the league especially after comments made by Jets LB Calvin Pace.
