This was expected, but Jets coach Rex Ryan confirmed at his news conference moments ago that cornerback Darrelle Revis has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season, per multiple reports.

Revis went down without contact in yesterday’s win at Miami, and the initial reports were not encouraging.

It’s a huge blow for the Jets, as it would be for any team that lost one of the top 10 players in the league.

Ryan said he had a simple message for his team: “Everybody has to step up, ... and that’s it.”

Kyle Wilson will likely step into the starting lineup alongside Antonio Cromartie.
