Rams running back Steven Jackson was held out of practice Wednesday, still struggling with a groin injury, according to Kathleen Nelson of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Jackson didn’t do much in practice last week, and only got 11 carries last Sunday against the Bears.

The good news for the Rams was getting first-rounder Michael Brockers back for his first work in nearly a month.

The defensive tackle suffered a high ankle sprain in the preseason finale, and was expected to miss four to six weeks, so he could be on the front end of that prognosis.
