Titans quarterback Jake Locker has exited today’s game against the Texans after going down hard on a sack in the first quarter.

Houston safety Glover Quin came in untouched on a blitz and drilled Locker, who never saw him coming, with a nasty but clean hit.

Locker stayed on the ground for a couple minutes and was attended to by trainers before getting up and walking to the locker room. The right-handed Locker appeared to be holding his left arm gingerly, and he may have suffered a separated left shoulder. He also hurt his left shoulder in Week One.

With Locker out, Matt Hasselbeck is the next man up at quarterback for the Titans. The Texans lead 7-0.
